Susan Lynn Dowling, of Umatilla passed away on Saturday, April 15 ^th , 2023, at Waterman Hospital. Born in Ferndale, Michigan June 16 ^th , 1954, to Parents Harold and Betty Dowling, Susan spent a long and fulfilling career as Nurse Practitioner specializing in Oncology at Florida Cancer Specialists, saving lives, offering comfort to the ill and grieving, as well as mentoring and supporting others. She will be fondly remembered for the countless lives she touched throughout the years.

Susan is survived by her son Christopher Hale (Rachel), Grandchildren Jacob, Benjamin, and Rebecca, sister Debbie Hutchinson (Mike), brother Jeff Dowling (Debbie), and brother Steve Dowling (Laura), as well as numerous nieces and nephews she was especially close to and fond of. She was preceded in death by parents Harold and Betty.

At Susan's request there will be no funeral service, in lieu of flowers, please send donations to Lake County Animal Shelter, Tavares, Florida.
