Susan Gail Standridge, age 65, passed away on July 27, 2024, in her birthplace of Daytona Beach, Florida. Susan was known for her vibrant personality and zest for life, cherishing every moment with enthusiasm and joy. A loving sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she found her greatest pleasure in the company of her extensive family and the simple joys of life.
Susan's interests spanned a variety of activities that kept her spirit alive and her laughter contagious. She was an avid player of bingo and could often be found brightening the local bingo halls with her presence. Her love for karaoke nights was well-known among her friends and family, bringing fun and music into their lives. In the kitchen, Susan expressed her love through her cooking and baking, creating delicious meals and treats that brought her family together.
A lifelong resident of Daytona Beach, Susan had a penchant for traveling by car, exploring new sights from the comfort of the road, as flying was never to her liking. Her other pastimes included long naps, binge-watching horror films, and staying updated with the latest gossip, which kept her engaged with her community and loved ones.
Susan is survived by her brothers Rocky, John, and Bill Standridge; the love of her current partner, Ronald Moore; the father of her children, James Boston; her children Jamie Boston, Jessie Boston (Kelly), Travis Boston, Rebecca Santer (Bobby), Peggy Boston (Jeffrey). Including her 27 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.
She was preceded in death by her parents Barbra and Wesley Standridge, her son Keith Standridge, grandsons Cody, Luke and Austin, her sister Janice Ball, and brothers Steve (Stevie) and Mark Standridge, and sister-in-law Pam Standridge.
A service to celebrate Susan's life will be held on Monday, August 5th, 2024, at 11a-1p at Baldwin Brothers in Port Orange, Florida. Susan's life was a testament to living fully with love and laughter, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
