Sydney Delano Comer, 77, passed away peacefully on 12/14/16 at the Lane Purcell Hospice House.  He was born in Luray, VA, raised his family in Jacksonville, FL and spent the last years of his life loving the Villages, FL.  He leaves behind his beloved wife, Rose, of 55 years; and daughters Vanessa Caffrey and Patrick; Dara McGonigle and Robert; and three beautiful granddaughters, Rachel, Leia and Samantha Werner.A Celebration of Life event will be held on January 15 ^th , 2017, time and location to be determined.  In lieu of flowers, you may consider a memorial contribution to Cornerstone Hospice, Lane Purcell House or the charity of your choice.
