Sylvia Robinson, 84, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed into the Arms of Jesus on July 13, 2025.

Throughout her life, Sylvia was loved by all who knew her. She had a great sense of humor, was an excellent musician, and loved singing praises with her banjo. She enjoyed fishing and traveling with her husband, playing cards with her family and friends, worshiping with her family and friends at Church and watching the antics of her three cats. Her laughter and song will be very missed.

Sylvia is survived by her husband of 34 years, William "Bill" Robinson, her stepsons, Jonathan Robinson of Florida, Kris Robinson and partner Kim of Montana, Erik Robinson of New Hampshire, a brother and sister-in-law James and Diane Lafountain of Florida, a granddaughter, Kimberly (Justin) Degon of New York, two grandsons, Robert Gifford of New York, Isaac (Afaf) Gifford of Vermont and a step-granddaughter, Jessica Rivers of Florida, as well as five great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was pre deceased by her parents, Clayton and Edith (Miller) Lafountain, her brother Charles (Shirley) Lafountain, sister Millicent (Charles) Crump, and her beloved daughter, Crystal, who are all waiting joyously in heaven to receive her.

A small service will be held at Christ's Community Church,  2623 Vasco Street
