Sylvia Jean Snook, 87, of Bradenton, FL died Wednesday, March 19, 2025, peacefully at home at 6:45pm after a brief battle with Cancer. She was born June 23,1937 in Sidney, Ohio the daughter of Doris J. and Thomas L. Studevant. She moved to Florida from Georgia in early 2004 after retiring from the Fayetteville Police department in an administrative position. She really enjoyed the outdoors, meeting new friends and hatching Monarch butterflies in her Butterfly "habitat" in Mt Dora, Florida. Sylvia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jack Snook (2021). She is survived by her children:  Kathy Peel (husband Lee) of Newark DE, Rick Andrews (wife Bambi) of Bradenton FL, Curt Andrews (wife Tammy) of Sharpsburg GA and Terry Andrews (wife (Joy) of Meansville GA. Sylvia is also survived by her one sister Vicki Steenrod (husband Randall) of Lexington MD and one brother Duane Studevant (wife Beverly) of Sidney OH. Sylvia had 8 grandchildren and 14 great- grandchildren.
