Tamsey Loretta Rains, 79, of Port Orange, Florida passed away on March 2, 2017 at the Halifax Health Medical Center, Daytona Beach Florida. She was born on January 13, 1938 in Avondale, West Virginia to the late Norman and Virgie (Sanders) Addair. She worked as a Registered Nurse and was a member of the Basilica of St. Paul Catholic Church. Tamsey loved politics, gardening, bird watching, and painting. She is survived by her daughter Lori Eckenrode; her son, Andrew Backelant and his wife Cynthia; his daughter, Yvonne Gould and her husband John; her brother, Earl and his wife Sandra; her 10 grandchildren; and her 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Sam and Wetzel Addair. A celebration of life will be held on Monday March 6, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at the Baldwin Brothers Funeral Funeral Home, 620 Dunlawton Avenue, Port Orange, Florida.
