Tanya Lynn Williams (Martha Ann McFarland), 82, of Ocala, FL passed away peacefully after a 6 year battle with Lewy Body Dementia, at E.W.& Lucille Cates House, Hospice of Marion County on January 31, 2025. She was born on March 16, 1942 to James Kester and Mary Irvin McFarland in Knoxville, TN.

She loved dancing, bowling, shopping, reading, and staying in touch with family and friends.

While our hearts ache, we choose to celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the love she shared with all who knew her. Thank you to everyone who has supported our family through this journey. Your love and prayers mean the world to us.

Tanya is preceded in death by her parents James K. and Mary Irvin McFarland, her sister Jimmie Lou Taylor, her daughter Jacki Dean Erickson, 2 nieces, 1 nephew, 1 great nephew, and 1 grandson.

She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Samuel Harvey Williams, III; daughters Mikal (James) Poole, Tammi (Gary) Hucks; step-daughters Barbara (Cary) Balaban, Angelique (Neal) Bivens, Wendy (Mike) Davis; son Jerry Williams; step-son Samuel H. (Kim) Williams, IV; grandchildren Tabitha Turner, James M. (Christina) Poole, Curtis (Heather) Poole, Roger (Whitley) Williams, Patrick (Caitlin) Williams, Tylie (Cody) Harris, Zoe Williams, Brandon (Leslie) Bivens, Tyler Bivens, Haley (Eric) Hansson, Hannah (Taylor) Donelson, Eli Williams, Zach (Nicole) Davis, Aaron (Emily) Davis and Nathan (Eryn) Davis; and 20 great grandchildren.
