Teodoro Ricardo Lassally August 26, 1969 – January 3, 2022
Toto was born in San Salvador to Guillermo and Beatriz Lassally. He is survived by his wife Katherine Lassally, daughters; Elizabeth, Noel, and Hanna, his brother Gonzalo (Amber), sister Isabel (Andy), and 8 nieces and nephews.
Toto was a strong, kind and generous man who lived his life to the fullest while always taking care of those who surrounded him. Toto was one of the best story tellers, he loved talking about his adventures and people loved hearing them. He was an excellent cook, a smart business man with amazing work ethic and took pride in a job well done.
Toto was passionate about racing cars and flying airplanes. He won several American and International races. He owned businesses in both the racing and aviation industry. Toto started Speedcom Communications in 1995, and he spent 27 years building Speedcom into the company it is today. Eight years ago he started the ROUX Helmet Company, which combined his love for racing, communications, functionality and design. In recent years, Aviation became a big part of Toto's life, so five years ago he started his third company called TELY Technologies with his wife Kathy. It is important to note that Toto's talents went beyond owning companies. He engineered and created products in both aviation and racing and held multiple patents for his designs. Toto's favorite quote was by Thomas Edison, "Hell, there are no rules here – we are trying to accomplish something." However, his favorite personal saying showed how he lived his life, and was a true representation of his humorous take on all things, He like to say, "I get up each morning, twist the bull's balls twice, and hang on for the ride!" Memories of Toto will remain with us in our hearts for the rest of our lives, and Toto's legacy will live on forever through his love of family, friends, racing, and business accomplishments.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. –John 3:16
