Teresa Kitchens Fike, 54, of 32 Byron Ellinor Drive passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, September 7th after a long illness.

A native of Spartanburg, South Carolina, she moved to Ormond Beach in 1997 where she worked as a pharmacy clerk for CVS and previously as a hostess for Cracker Barrel Restaurant.

Surviving are her husband, Darryl Fike of the home and two sons, Michael Kitchens of Spartanburg, SC and Payton of Ormond Beach, one granddaughter, Harlie of Spartanburg, and her beloved younger sister, Tanya of Daytona Beach along with a brother, Brian Byars of Spartanburg as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Teresa was the daughter of John A. Byars, Jr. of Spartanburg and Sandra Jean Worthy Byars of Spartanburg both deceased. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Renee Byars of North Carolina and a brother, Johnny Byars of Spartanburg.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
