Terrance Lee Marinshaw (Terry), 75, passed away on December 6, 2022, after a long struggle with dementia.  He was born on April 29, 1947 in Miami, Florida, and was an only child.  He and his parents, Peter and Mary moved to Melbourne, where he went to school and graduated from Melbourne Hight School n 1966.  Terry loved his high school years playing football, running track and surfing.  After high school, he and some friends went to California on a surfing trip, and he loved those big waves enough to stay there for 20 years.  Terry also lived in Hawaii for one of those years.  Terry an his wife, Carole, had three children while in California.  Terry came to Melbourne for the class reunions, and at the 30th ran into Janet, also a Melbourne Hight school graduate, and they have been married since 1998.

Terry is survived by wife, Janet Hinkson Marinshaw, sons Travis from Melbourne, FL and Todd from Oviedo, FL, and his daughter Taryn, from Chattanooga, TN; and grandchildren Tristan, Troy, Tyler, Thomas, Mason and Maddy.

Also part of his family are Janet's sons Brit, Oviedo, FL and Aaron, Pisgah Forest, NC; and her grandchildren Emma, Maggie, Wynn, Naomi and Lily.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 1401 Forest Hills Dr.,Winter Springs, FL 32708 at 3:00 p.m.
