Terrell
Nitzsche
February 28, 1937 – April 20, 2026
Terrell “Terry” Nitzsche, age 89, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, service, and deep devotion to his family.
A standout athlete in his youth, Terrell was a star at Beloit Memorial High School. Following his school years, he honorably served his country in the military, an experience that shaped his lifelong character. Terrell went on to lead a distinguished 40 year career as a foreman for Beloit Pipeline and Northern Pipeline. A proud and dedicated union member, he was respected by his colleagues for his leadership and expertise in the field.
The true heart of Terrell’s life was his 63-year marriage to his beloved wife, Marcia. Together, they built a life rooted in steadfast love. He was a proud father to his son, Randy (Cindy), and his daughters, Vicki (Bruce) Bartscher and Kristie (Danny) Lorden. Terrell’s greatest joy was his 10 wonderful grandchildren, whom he adored and who will carry his memory forward. He was looking forward to their first great-granddaughter. Predeceased by Mother Lucille, brothers John and Tom. He is survived by his younger brother Jim (Leslie) who he shared a special bond with.
He will be remembered as a man of integrity, a loyal friend, and a cornerstone of his family. He never complained (unless he was on the golf course complaining about his game). He was an avid golfer (2 hole in ones, 2 more than his children and grandchildren combined) and was also a pretty good pool player. He and Marcia were also known to throw a few epic 4th of July parties back in the day. Special thanks to the incredible professionals at Cornerstone Hospice for their dignified and helpful care.
Information regarding a memorial service is still to be determined at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to your local hospice care in Terrell’s memory.
