In loving memory of Terry Huber of Sarasota, FL who passed away peacefully at home at the age of 59 on September 10th, 2026. He was born on October 6, 1966. He grew up in Southwest, FL where he built a life rooted in family, friendship, music, and the coastal culture he loved.
He is survived by his parents John Huber and Constance Winslow, wife Sandra Fortier, siblings Bryan Huber, Julie Collins and Danny Huber and wide circle of extended family and lifelong friends who will carry his memory forward.
A Venice High School Graduate Class of 1985 Terry embraced his passions that shaped his youth, surfing, skateboarding, fishing, music and cheering on the Tampa Bay Bucs. Terry worked proudly at a Bicycle Shop that gave him unique skillset that enabled him to help others throughout his life. He created friendships that were deep rooted and enduring and Terry had a rare gift for staying connected.
He attended College at University of Central Florida with his brother.
Music was one of his greatest callings. He was a local legend with his bands No Fraud and Man Made Monsters.
Terry became a successful businessman with Environmental Biotech and Signs Now. He had a great passion for teaching “Action Sales” in the US and Internationally as a Vice President of Operations.
Throughout his professional life he travelled extensively. His journeys took him across the USA, Canada and to destinations throughout Europe, Asia, Latin America South America, and Australia. These experiences broadened his world and enriched the stories he loved to share.
Later, semi-retired, he enjoyed challenging himself to help others succeed alongside him in the Flooring Industry. He loved making people happy with his quick wit.
He enjoyed social time with friends and neighbors and always lent a hand to people in need.
He found peace and happiness listening to live local music with his wife.
Terry humbly gave back to his community with commitment to honor his younger brother with disabilities. His charitable activities include Fishing Tournament’s for people with disabilities, Distributing Thanksgiving Dinners for The Knights of Columbus, Assembling Bikes for Children in need at Giving Tree.
He left on a high note, forever young.
A Private Service will be held at Sarasota National Cemetery
A Celebration of Life will take place on
Sunday October 18th, 2026
1:00 to 5:00PM
