Terry Lee Falk, 83 of North Fort Myers, Florida passed away on March 6, 2022 at his home after a long-fought battle with Cancer.

Terry was born on August 18, 1938 to Vernell and Clifford Falk from Lake Crystal, Minnesota where he grew up, attended school, and participated in various sports. After graduation Terry attended the University of Minnesota from 1956-1957 where he played college football for the Golden Gophers. After an injury he transferred to Mankato State College where he held the track record for many years and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. He coached and taught in Rose Creek, Minnesota where he met the love of his life, Sharon Gomer and they married in 1962. He remained in Minnesota teaching and coaching before moving to North Fort Myers, Florida in 1966. Terry earned his Masters Degree in Education from the University of South Florida in 1976.

Terry held the positions of teacher, athletic trainer, Dean of Students, Assistant Principal, and acting Principal at North Fort Myers High School, until he left to become Assistant Principal of Cape Coral High School when it opened in 1979. He thoroughly enjoyed interacting with the students and faculty on a daily basis and became known as "Teddy Bear Falk." He could be found after hours attending high school sporting events and extracurricular activities, where he was always willing to lend a helping hand and touched the lives of many students. Terry worked at Cape Coral High School until he retired in 1997. He worked part-time in the funeral industry after 40 years in the public school system. Terry enjoyed spending his summers camping with his family and later relaxing at their Cabin in the Smokey Mountains of North Carolina.

Terry is preceded in death by his parents Vernell and Clifford Falk. He is survived by his brothers Mike Falk (XinLi) and Tom Falk (Joni), his wife of 59 years Sharon Rosanne Falk and his four children Kimberly Falk, Darin Falk (Christine), Neal Falk (Kerry) and Tanya Cooper (Cameron). He always enjoyed spending time with his four grandsons Darin Falk, Jr., Andrew Falk, Lathen Falk and Logan Falk and had the pleasure of meeting his most recent great granddaughter Gracie Lynn.

The family will be having a reception to gather and share fond thoughts and memories of Terry on Saturday, April 2, 2022, from 3:00-6:00PM at Cape Coral High School (cafeteria), 2300 Santa Barbara Blvd., Cape Coral, Florida, 33991.
