Terry Lamond Morse, 76 of Ocala, FL  passed away on Wednesday October 18, 2017 at ORMC.  Terry was born in Defiance, Ohio and came to Ocala in 1971.

He is retired from General Hardware and Orgill Brothers and previous years many people may remember Terry as manager of Big Pines Hardware in Silver Springs.

Terry spent his childhood in Defiance and graduated in Ayersville in 1959.  He played basketball and won All-State the same year.  After marrying his high school sweetheart he moved to southern California and obtained an AA degree from L.A. City College.  He then worked  for McDonnell Douglas Space Division.

Terry had many passions, his first being the love of music. Playing the guitar and singing country & western music on stage in his early years and for family gatherings in his later years were what brought him the most joy. His love of old cowboy movies and the western era was evident.  He was also very artistic and loved his workshop where he spent many

hours creating unique and treasured heirlooms for the family.  Christmas was a special time for Terry, as he loved to have the family together and to set out his ever growing Christmas Village.  He was a selfless and giving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

He is preceded in death by his parents Monroe and Donelda Morse; sister Lila and daughters Teresa Faye and Terra Lee.  Terry is survived by his wife of 58 years Carol; Brother; Gary Morse; Sister; Sonia Fisher;  Sons; Patrick (Mario); Timothy (Heather); Michael (Pamela); Jennifer (Tony) and Jeani.  10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
