In Loving Memory of Terry Thomas March 11, 1944 – November 20, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Terry Thomas, who left this world on November 20, 2024. Born on March 11, 1944, Terry was a beloved son to the late Louise Thomas McArthur.

Terry graduated from the University of Southern Illinois in 1967, where he was a talented athlete, excelling as a college baseball player and wrestler. His passion for competition extended into adulthood, where he became an avid and accomplished racquetball player. Terry was a lifelong sports enthusiast who could often be found cheering on his beloved Florida Gators.

Terry also had a successful career in sales, where his charisma and dedication left a lasting impression on colleagues and clients alike.

Terry was preceded in death by his mother, Louise; his sister, Jeanne Nicholas; and his brother, Jerry McArthur. His legacy lives on through his wife, Judy Thomas; his children, Jodi Randall (Steve Randall), Drew Thomas (Amy Thomas), and Shayne Thomas; and his two cherished grandchildren, Cole Randall and Kelsey Thomas. He is also survived by his sister, Janie Stanley (Chuck Stanley), and numerous nieces and nephews who will remember him with love and admiration.

Terry's life was marked by his kind heart, steadfast devotion to his family, and an unwavering sense of humor. He brought joy to everyone he met and leaves behind a legacy of warmth, generosity, and a love for life that will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A celebration of Terry's life will be held on January 11th from 1:00 – 4:00 at The Springs Clubhouse in Longwood. Please contact family to RSVP. Terry's spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
