George King, age 74, beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, brother-in-law, cousin, and friend to many, peacefully passed away surrounded by his loving family on July 20, 2023.

He is survived by his beloved wife Jennifer; his children Jason & his wife Dana, LouAnn & her husband Joe, Ronnie & Michele; his grandchildren Benjamin, Ashley, Joey, Kayla, Madison, Brooke, Katelyn, Matthew, & Amelia; his great-grandchildren Evee and Rory; his sisters Barbara and Carol; his stepmother Terri & her husband Bob; as well as his many close friends & relatives that provided comfort, love and support throughout his incredible life.

He believed family, education, and hard work were the keys to success, no matter the obstacle or circumstance. True to his strong beliefs, he provided guidance, inspiration, and support to his children and grandchildren in the pursuit of their education and professions.

As a father, George focused on raising respectful and responsible children. He was an expert at teaching the "intangibles", Honor, Integrity, Honesty, Respect, Determination, and Persistence. He was a safe harbor, a shoulder to lean on, and a strong loving father that made everything alright. He was the proudest when he spoke of his family and spent time with them.

As a husband, George was a protector, provider, care-giver & soulmate. He was committed & devoted through good and bad times.

As an astute businessman, George was intelligent, ambitious & determined to succeed & provide for his family. He saw obstacles as challenges & persevered. He had this drive about him that was indescribable which was one of his many amazing qualities. George worked at Morgan Stanley for over 20 years and retired as a Principal of Equity Trading.

As a friend, he was the type of man that would give you the shirt off his back. He was the life of the party & would welcome you with open arms.

We will miss him, his guidance, his infectious smile, his sense of humor, his caring spirt, his fearless demeanor & the sound of his voice. His presence alone was a blessing & he will live in our hearts & continue to influence our lives forever.

The memorial service for George King will be on Wednesday, July 26th at Baldwin Brothers Funeral home, Port Orange, FL. The family welcomes you to visit from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with the service following.
