Our beloved mother passed away peacefully at her home on July 17, 2018 at the age of 92. She was born on July 4, 1926 and raised in Bloomington, IN. She was proceeded in death by Russell, to whom she was married for 54 years. She is survived by her children; Larry (Pam), Linda (Troy), Mark (Kim) and Thomas (Deb). She was blessed with three grandchildren; Rusty (Rebecca), Lauren (Mary) and Rachel (Rob).

She graduated from St. Catherine's Hospital School of Nursing and practiced in the Emergency and Surgical Room at Bloomington Hospital. She later worked for the offices of Doctor's Geiger, Sibbitt, White, Pugh, and Dr. Holtzman. After moving to Fort Myers, she worked for Lee County Schools and the Naples-Fort Myers Greyhound Track.

Thelma enjoyed reading, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Memorial Services are scheduled for September in Bloomington, IN.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
