Theodore "Terry" Joseph Rake, 71, went to be with the Lord on April 23, 2018.  Terry was born to Theodore and Eleanor Rake on August 27, 1946 in Beaver Dam, WI.   As a young man Terry served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War.  After returning from the Army Terry would meet his bride to be Joan Carol Rake and they were wed on July 21, 1973.  Terry retired to Florida with Joan where he enjoyed playing softball, golf and watching football.  He is preceded in death by three sisters, Eleanor Redeker of West Bend, WI, Monica Weeden of Madison, WI and Paulette Rake of Phoenix, AZ.  Terry is survived by his sister Kathy (Byron) Kamphuis of Waupun, WI, nieces and nephews and many good friends.  A mass will be held a St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church in The Villages, FL on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 11 am.  A private family burial will occur at Florida National Cemetery at a later date.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his name to your organizations of Choice.
