Theresa A Furtado, Age 75 of Leesburg, FL formally of Fall River, MA, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her children on July 11, 2017. She was the wife of the late Edward P Furtado she leaves behind 5 children Bruce & (Samantha) Furtado of Spring Hill, FL , Kenneth Furtado of Somerset MA, Loreen Furtado & (Rodney Bettencourt) of Leesburg, FL, Jeanne & (Greg) Sardinha of Leesburg, FL, and James Furtado of Leesburg, FL, 6 Grandchildren – Heather, David, Gregory, Micaela, Brandon, Elizabeth & Jack, 5 Great Grandchildren – Elliana, Brayden, Rito Jr., Mia & Harrison, and 2 Sisters Jean King and Doris Butrum, of Leesburg, FL. For the majority of her life, she was a house wife and raised her 5 children that she had "one right after the other boom, boom, boom, boom, boom" as she would always say.  In her later years, she worked full time in the apparel industry before taking an early retirement to care for her disabled son. She moved to  Florida 16 years ago. She will be missed greatly, forever in our hearts and always remembered for her witty somewhat sassy fun loving personality. May she rest peacefully.
