Thomas Neal Alesandro, age 76, died November 29th in Parrish Medical Center, Titusville, Florida with his loving wife of 51 years, Barbara, by his side. He fought a short and hard battle with Pancreatic Cancer.
He was born in Somerville, New Jersey to the late Anna and Neal Alesandro. He grew up in Flagtown, New Jersey. He began his police career in 1972 with High Bridge Police Department. Tom transferred in 1974 to Clinton Township Police Department, where he retired in 1999 as a Lieutenant. He filled in his retirement for a short time driving a school bus for Laidlaw in Clinton Township.
In 2005, he and Barbara sold their Clinton Township home and started full-timing in their motorhome traveling throughout the beautiful United States. In 2013, they retired their wheels for a home in Titusville, Florida.
Tom is survived by his wife Barbara; sister Patricia and her husband Lewis Van Glahn of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina; niece Laura Oliveira and her son, Austin, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; and cousins and friends. He is survived by his faithful Cardigan Welsh Corgi, Angie, who misses him terribly.
