Thomas Joseph Burinski was born on December 26, 1933 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Sidney Burinski and Josephine Zabinski Burinski. He grew up in Andalusia, PA, a tranquil community which he carried fond memories in his heart. A proud veteran, he answered the call of duty by enlisting in the United States Navy, serving with honors during the Korean war. It was at a skating rink that he met the love of his life, Jane Sneade, married in 1959. Their meeting sparked a lifelong devotion that lasted 64 years. Together, they built a home not just for their children, but for the many animals they loved throughout their lives. He had a soft spot for creatures great and small, and he and Jane shared their hearts with many cherished pets over the years.

Those who knew Tom will remember him as a man of quiet strength and determination, but most of all, they will remember his kindness and beautiful blue eyes and that unmistakable twinkle when he smiled.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Josephine and wife, Jane Burinski. He is survived by his three children, Thomas R. Burinski, Michael J. Burinski and Jill A. Troughton; and his (7) seven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
