Thomas C. Coyne, age 78, of Leesburg, FL and formerly of Hopewell Jct, NY quietly passed away November 25, 2017.

Tom loved his home in New York and spent many hours outdoors on his beautiful property.  He found serenity in the company of his cats and in nature, enjoying the gardens and wildlife, the view of the pond and the visits from the geese that would return every year to start new families.  He enjoyed taking long drives in the car with no particular destination in mind just to find what was new to discover.  He and Claire would not hesitate to drive a couple of hours for a good meal in one of their favorite places.

Tom is survived by Claire, his devoted wife of 54 years, his daughter, Tricia Coyne, of Millbrook, NY, his son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Therese Coyne of Hopewell Jct, NY, his granddaughters, Katrina and Erin Kristoferson of Millbrook, NY,  and grandson, Jesse Kristoferson of Loveland, CO.  He is also survived by his sister, Patricia Blunnie of Central Islip, NY, his brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Marsha Coyne of Groveland, FL, his lifelong friends, Jimmy and Anita Emrich of Homosassa, FL, as well as many nieces and nephews.
