Thomas "Tom" F. Davis, 71, of Port Orange, FL passed away on Monday, September 11, 2017.  Tom was born on November 10, 1945 in Point Pleasant, NJ to Peter and Mary(Hanley) Davis.  He graduated from Brick Twsp High School in 1963.  Prior to moving to Florida in 1993, Tom was employed by Ciba Geigy for 25 years where he worked in colorist management.  Before retiring in 2010, Tom was employed by Daytona Auto Auction. Family and friends were Tom's joy.  He also was a history buff and enjoyed Caribbean cruises with his wife and friends. Tom is survived by his wife of 48 years, Dolores (Francisco) Davis, his son Thomas Sean Davis of Port Orange, FL, daughter Rachel Davis Truxall and her husband Chad of Port Orange, FL and three grandchildren (Rune Davis, Liam Davis and Isabella Truxall) and his nieces (Marianne Gribbon and Lynn Britton) and his nephews (Robert and William Sherrier).  He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Peter Harry Davis. The funeral mass will be held at 11:00am on Sept. 30, 2017 at Epiphany Catholic Church, 201 Lafayette St, Port Orange, FL.. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to Marine Discovery Center, 520 Barracuda Blvd., New Smyrna Beach, FL 32169.
