In loving memory of Thomas Joseph Horosky, 1944 – 2025

Thomas "Tom" Joseph Horosky, 81, of Lake Wales, Florida, passed away on May 5, 2025 after a life dedicated to family, community and country.

Born in Norwalk, CT, he was a son to the late Anne and Michael Horosky of Westport, CT, and a brother to the late Richard M Horosky, also of CT. Tom proudly served in the U.S. Army before building a long and successful career with Southern New England Telephone Company/AT&T. He remained committed to service throughout his life as a member of the Polk County Citizen's Assisted Patrol and was a member of the Winter Haven American Legion Post 8.

Tom was known for his love of sports and active living– he enjoyed playing softball, bowling, basketball, and was an avid and talented golfer. In retirement, he found joy in gardening, landscape maintenance, and always lent a helping hand, traveling and spending quality time with friends and loved ones.

Tom is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 59 years, Linda Withers Horosky, his two children Ann Horosky Mortel of Texas and Mark Horosky of New York; and four cherished grandchildren: Lucas Horosky, Shayla, Elizabeth and Michael Mortel.

A remembrance memorial will be held in the near future. Interment will be private.
