Thomas Meredith Jarboe Sr (79) of Georgetown, FL Formerly of Reelsville, IN was born December 4 ^th , 1943, in Indianapolis, IN to the late Cletus and Mary (Sturgeon) Jarboe. He passed away peacefully with his family at his side on June 9, 2023.

Thomas was very proud of his service in the United States Navy aboard the USS Current ARS-22 from 1962 to 1966 where he had traveled the world and made lifelong friends.

Thomas retired from Navistar International in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Thomas enjoyed the best things in life such as fishing, hiking, genealogy and watching old westerns on the television, and most of all he loved being with his family and friends playing cards and good old-fashioned cookouts.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents Cletus and Mary Jarboe, Brother Cletus Jarboe, Brother Charles Jarboe, Brother PFC William Jarboe (Vietnam), and Brother- in Law Edwin Black.

Thomas is survived by his wife, Kyle Jean, Children Thomas (Nicole) Jarboe Jr., Robert (Jessica) Jarboe, Candice (Merced) Chavez.  His Stepchildren Charles (Rachel) Grogan, Regina (Paul) Zike, Steven Grogan, and Rebecca (Gabe) Mejia, His Sister, Frieda Black, Sister-in law Sally Jarboe, his brother-in law Phillip Paulson, his Cousin Marilyn Funke, and many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren, and two very special neighbors he loved as family Denise and John Mack.

A celebration of Life for Thomas will be held on a future date in Indianapolis, Indiana.
