Thomas William Klingler a/k/a "Hippie" passed away at home in Tavares on Friday, January 12, 2024 at the age of 74. Thomas was born on December 3, 1949 in Lima, Ohio to Harry E. Klingler and Bessie V (Thomas) Klingler who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were his sister Barbara M (Klingler) Adams, brother-in-law, Thomas Adams, and nephew, Michael E. Oglesbee.

Thomas graduated from Shawnee High School in Lima, Ohio in 1967 and he served in the United States Army for 10 years. Prior to retirement, he served as a printing press operator.

He is survived by his nephews, Michael (Sally) Adams, Spencerville, Ohio; Mark (Jenny) Adams, Lima, Ohio; niece, Kimberly (Michael) Oglesbee, Spencerville, Ohio; 15 great nieces & nephews and 22 great-great nieces & nephews. Thomas is also survived by his good friends, Rick and Shellie Davis, with whom he lived for many years and by his beloved dog, Boo
