Thomas Raymond Lascek, age 63 of Cape Coral, FL, formerly of Albion, PA, passed away October 9, 2024, at home with his high school sweetheart Wife, Pam at his side after a courageous battle with glioblastoma brain cancer for over 6 years. He was born in Erie, PA on September 23, 1961 to his late parents, Joyce (glass) golden and Rudolph J. Lascek.
Tom graduated from Northwestern High School and Erie County Technical School in 1980. Tom had a long dedication to Amsco/Steris Corporation for over 36 years. Tom was an employee, contractor then started TRL Consulting, Inc, as President/CEO to continue to work for Steris Corporation until his retirement in 2021. His dedication to his job was something he took pride in and worked above and beyond the call of duty, always saying he was happy to be part of the team and helped wherever needed.
Tom was very athletic throughout his life. After playing sports in school, he continued to play baseball and softball in local leagues in Pennsylvania. Tom was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church, in Cape Coral, FL and a former member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Albion, PA. and St. Katherine Drexel Catholic Church, of Cape Coral, FL. Throughout his years attending church, his love for the lord and the blessed Virgin Mary was amazing, especially The Rosary. Tom prayed the Rosary every day, sometimes more than once a day.
Tom's passion was fishing, sometimes in his 16 ft. Lund fishing boat. He always said his little boat, which he named the "Sea Monster", caught every kind of fish in Lake Erie and the Gulf of Mexico, but his favorite fishing was walking the beaches surf fishing. Tom and Pam spent a lot of time at the beaches of Lake Erie and the Gulf of Mexico. They were true beach bums.
