Thomas Gene
Leach
Feb 15, 1959 — Sep 1, 2026
It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Thomas Gene Leach, beloved husband, father, brother, Marine, pilot, and friend, who passed away on September 1, 2026, at the age of 67.
Born in California on February 15, 1959, Thomas lived a life filled with courage, adventure, dedication, and love for his family.
Thomas proudly served his country as a United States Marine, carrying the strength, honor, and commitment of the Marine Corps with him throughout his life.
He also found his passion in aviation. As a private pilot and professional pilot with NetJets, Thomas spent many years doing what he loved—flying. The skies became an important part of his life, bringing him a sense of freedom, purpose, and adventure.
Above all, Thomas was a husband and father. He was the loving husband of Dawn Jones and the proud father of Josie, Max, and Sam. His family was at the center of his life, and the love he shared with them will remain his greatest legacy.
Thomas is survived by his sister, Vicki. He was preceded in death by his brother, David.
Thomas will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, his strength, his dedication to those he loved, and the life he built both on the ground and in the skies.
His journey began in California and took him through a life of service, family, and flight. Though he has taken his final flight, the memories he created and the love he gave will continue to live on through Dawn, Josie, Max, Sam, Vicki, and all those who knew and loved him.
Semper Fi, Thomas.
Blue skies and tailwinds.
Until we meet again.
