Obituary

Thomas C. Panzella, born in Brooklyn, New York to Frank and Rose Panzella, passed away in Winter Park, Florida.

He served as a Radio Operator in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and later built a career in finance, accounting, and business consulting, working with multiple businesses.

Tom was a longtime resident of Franklin, New York, where he served on the school board—including time as president—and was active as a church deacon, Boy Scout leader, and a member of American Legion Post 1689.

He spent his last twenty years in Florida, most recently in Minneola. In 2017, he received a Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD), which allowed him eight more years with his family thanks to the incredible and attentive care of the team at AdventHealth Orlando.

Tom is survived by his brother Frank; his wife Donna; their children Thomas "Rooney", Kristin, and Patrick "Patch" , their respective spouses and his six grandchildren. He also leaves behind his beloved cat, Steve. He'll be remembered by those who knew him as thoughtful and committed to the people and causes he cared about.
