Thomas "Tom" Rantala, formerly of Palo, Mn., died November 27, 2018 in Ocala, Florida of mesothelioma. He was born September 28, 1949 to Wilbert and Ruth Rantala. He worked at LTV Steel for 31 years. He was on the church council of St. Mark's Church and also served as Supervisor of White Township. Tom loved and owned Tom's Corner Garden Greenhouse selling plants, vegetables and flowers. He was a wonderful son, a loving father and husband. Survivors include his wife Margie, his mother Ruth Rantala (Lauder), his brothers Richard Rantala (Lori) and Steven Rantala (LeAnna), his sister Patty Schmitz (Mike) and his children: Amanda, Emily, Nathan Hall, Maria Hall and Mollie Hall.  Arrangements by Baldwin Brothers Funerals & Cremations 11250 SW 93rd Ct.
