Thomas Alfred Remaley, 86, of Leesburg, FL, passed away on November 19, 2023. His final days were spent surrounded by the family and friends he loved so much.

Born March 1, 1937, to Thomas and Lucy Remaley, Thomas lived a rambunctious young life in Mifflinville, PA with his sister, Marjorie.

Thomas retired in 2011 from South Florida Carpets and Restoration.

Thomas was strong willed and stubborn at times, but he also had an enormous heart and wonderful sense of humor. He was generous, loyal, and enjoyed telling stories and helping people. He was clever and full to the brim with knowledge gained through his life experiences. He could build or fix anything. There wasn't anyone he met that he didn't consider a friend.

In typical Thomas fashion, there are no services planned, certainly no pomp and circumstance. A celebration of life will occur with details to be determined.

Thomas is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Lucy, sister, Marjorie Milheim, son Tommy, niece Debbie and daughter in-law, Connie.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Rosemary Carl-Remaley, stepchildren, Jimmy Young, Jayne Young, Joni Wyszkowski (Alan). Grandchildren, James Philip Young (Crystal), Jennifer Young, Michael Miller Jr., three great grandchildren, Kayla, Lydia, and Lilly, nieces Janet and Linda and great-nieces, Kimberly, and Jillian.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his name to Cornerstone Hospice, 2445 Lane Park Road, Tavares, FL 32778.
