Thomas Wayne Rodgerson, 87, of Fort Myers, FL,. passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at the Joanne's House at Hope Hospice.  Born on July 30, 1935 in Norfolk, VA to the proud parents of James Anthony & Mildred Ann (Edgerton) Rodgerson, he was a retired project manager and he loved to play golf.  In his lifelong adventures in business and family, he traveled the nation.  As a sales representative with Genesse Brewery, he met numerous individuals, including dignitaries and sports figures.  He was most proud to have spent an afternoon, on his own, with then President Ronald Reagan and had a friendship with Billy Carter, brother of then President Jimmy Carter.  He was a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army and performed as a weatherman for the Army.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Diane Rodgerson; his loving children: daughters-Donna Toole, Debra Zachary & Deanna Bodie and his son, Dale Rodgerson: his two step-daughters: Debra Jackson and Dawn Valle, along with 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren
