IN LOVING MEMORY OF

Rohmann

Thomas Alan Rohmann
January 22, 1943 – March 1, 2025
If there's a quiet fishing spot in heaven, Tom Rohmann is already there—wearing his favorite blue camo fishing shirt and cargo shorts, a fishing pole in one hand and a harmonica in the other. Tom lived 82 years with a sharp mind, a kind heart, and a knack for delivering a knock-knock joke to anyone who'd listen.
Tom was a man of many talents. A natural athlete, he played baseball, basketball and golf in his youth. After graduating from Venice High School, he attended the University of Southern Mississippi where he met his wife and made life long friends. He had a deep love for the outdoors, whether fishing off the jetty, searching for shark teeth on the beach, or sharing his endless knowledge of wildlife.
His creativity extended beyond sports—Tom was also musically and artistically gifted. He could pick up a guitar, harmonica, or a tune by ear, playing and singing along to old-school country music. His artistic eye found its way into sketches and drawings, often inspired by the nature he loved.
He had a soft spot for a cold beer at the VFW and never hesitated to help someone down on their luck.
Tom is lovingly survived by his sister, two daughters/sons-in-law, and five grandchildren. In his honor, take a walk on the beach, pick up an instrument, tell a bad joke, or answer the phone when someone calls—he'd like that.
