Thom was born on December 11, 1965 in St. George's County Maryland to Allen and Margaret Spry. He passed away on July 19, 2021 at the age of 55 years in Orlando Florida. Thom lived in Winter Park Florida for many years. He was unmarried and had no children. Thom is survived by his brother Mark and sister in law Cyndi as well as a multitude of extended family. Predeceased by his father Allen, mother Margaret (Peggy), and brother William (Bill).

Thom was a man of many talents and interests and pursued paralegal studies and bar tending among other things. His "quirky" look at life will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

Thom is at peace after battling several health challenges including his recent crippling stroke in February.
