Thomas Charles Torrisi 68, of Edgewater, Florida passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022.

Thomas was born on September 27, 1953 to parents Salvatore Torrisi and Marilyn Ohrvall Torrisi.  He grew up and spent much of his life in New York, relocating to Florida in 2003.

Following in his father's footsteps, Tom enjoyed a career for many years in the auto parts field where he made many close friends in New York and Florida.

Tom married Karol Hack in 1984, and they were married for 25 years. He honored his vows and selflessly took on the role of caregiver near the end of her life and her long battle with Multiple Sclerosis.

Tom has three daughters, whom he loved more than anything, Kara, Jennifer and Amanda and was over the moon for his six grandchildren, Kayla, Colin, Evan, Jake, Eli and Emily.  He was a caring and attentive husband, father and grandfather.

Tom was loved by so many for his kindness and easy-going attitude. He always had a smile on his face and the simple pleasures in life brought great joy to him.

Tom found happiness in spending days at the beach, fishing, golfing, bowling, and most of all spending time with his family. He would never pass up an opportunity to go to the amusement park and ride the roller coasters with his children and grandchildren.  He loved to cook and share his food at family gatherings.  He loved listening to music, especially classic rock, watching sports, and although he relocated to Florida, he remained a loyal fan to his favorite New York sports teams, the Yankees and the Giants.

Tom is preceded in death by his wife Karol Hack Torrisi, his brothers Vincent and John, and parents Salvatore and Marilyn.

Tom is survived by his daughters, Kara, Jennifer and Amanda, his sisters Carmela Roberts and Marilyn Patrick, brothers Anthony and Salvatore, and their families, as well as his grandchildren, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Tom will be greatly missed, and forever loved by all who knew him.

Services will be held Saturday, February 5 ^th from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at the Baldwin Funeral Home. 1 North Causeway, New Smyrna Beach Florida 32169.
