Thomas "Vic" Varnedoe died peacefully in The Villages FL on August 12th at the age of 77. He is survived by his wife, Barbara; children, Paul Varnedoe, and Laura Varnedoe Priede; brother, H.P. Varnedoe Sr.; 6 grandchildren, 2 nephews, 2 great nieces and 2 great nephews. Vic was born in Nashville, TN, lived in Fort Lauderdale, FL and Atlanta, GA before moving to The Villages in 2005. He joined the Army and was a sergeant in the 2nd Infantry Division. He retired from banking in 2002 and was active in the Seniors vs. Crime program. Funeral is scheduled for September 1st at 11:00 am at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Cancer Society.
