A gathering of family and friends will be at 4:00 PM Tuesday, January 19 at Baldwin Brothers Heritage Place 1 North Causeway New Smyrna Beach .

Thomas John Wind, of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, passed away of natural causes on 13 January 2016 at 45 years of age. He is survived by his parents, Bob and Barbara Wind, of Edgewater, Florida, his brother, Robert E. Wind III, also of Edgewater, and his sister, Sandra, of South Daytona, his fiancé, Rayna Berg, and two daughters, Saraya, 5, and Willow, almost 3. Has an aunt and cousins in Syracuse, New York, an uncle in Holly Springs, Mississippi, and nephews and a great niece in Omaha, Nebraska. Tom was born on Fort Ord, California, and lived with his family in Maryland, California, and Crete, Greece as a child. Tom loved music, and played the piano beautifully. He could fix or build anything with his hands, and had an uncanny memory. He was a loving and giving child, and even in death was a successful organ donor. Tom will be forever loved and missed by his family and friends.
