Thomas E. Zahnen (also known as UT), born November 10,1940, to Joseph G Zahnen, Sr and Lena Lister Zahnen in Chicago, IL. He passed away at Stewart E. Meyer Hospice House on May 16, 2024.

Thomas attended St. George High School and Christian Brothers College.  He worked for Marshall Fields & Co for 49+ years in Sales, Warehousing and Traffic, retiring in 2006.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Lena Zahnen.  He is survived by his brother Joseph Jr. and spouse, sister Marian Petersen, and brother James and spouse, along with many nieces and nephews.

Memorial Mass for Tom will be held at Prince of Peace Catholic Church on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at 11 am in the Chapel. The graveside burial will be in Chicago, IL at All Saints Cemetery on July 20, 2024, at 9:30 am.
