Timothy "Tim" or "Timmy" Michael Gwaltney passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family on January 12, 2026. Tim was born on December 5, 1955 in Eustis, Florida.

A true jack-of-all-trades, Tim was always working on something. He could most often be found outside tinkering and doing what he loved. Along with his wife and children, Tim was a member of First Baptist Church of Umatilla.

Tim is survived by his loving wife, Penny Gwaltney; his daughters, Wendy and Megan Gwaltney; his son, Nathan Gwaltney; his grandchildren, Isaiah and Olivia Padilla; and lots of friends who were like family.

Tim was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Foster; his father, John Gwaltney; and his brothers, Charles and Samuel Gwaltney.

There will be a Celebration of Life at the family's discretion.
