Timothy G. Plumeri, 72, of Port Orange, FL, passed away peacefully under the care of Hospice, surrounded by his family, on January 21, 2025. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of Salvatore (Sam) and Dorothy (DalPorto) Plumeri. He is survived by his twin sisters, Pamela (Jeff) Trunzo of New Smyrna Beach and Paulette (Raymond) Miller of Tampa, nieces Gina (Richard) Ziehmer, Dana (Justin) Fayer both of Scottsdale, AZ, nephew, Sam Miller of Tampa, one great niece, Zia, and four great nephews, Zachary, Logan, Nathaniel and Beau, and many cousins.
Tim attended local schools in Niagara Falls. He owned and operated a successful business, Variety Liquors, in Niagara Falls, NY before relocating to New Mexico and then Florida Tim loved sports, especially football and horse racing. He traveled the country to attend horse race tournaments and special events to some of his favorite places like Las Vegas, Saratoga, Fort Erie and Tampa Bay Downs. He loved the beach, collecting coins and HO trains. He had an impressive display of trains in his "train room" at home where he spent many hours building and adding on to his collection over the years.
Tim was deeply loved as son, brother, uncle, Godfather and friend and will be missed dearly. A mass of Christian burial will take place on Friday, March 14, 2025 at 8:30 AM at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church in Port Orange, FL.
