Tim VanAtta, age 32, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday December 5, 2020 in an automobile accident in Osteen, FL. He was born August 06, 1988 in Sanford, FL to Kevin VanAtta and Starlene Dawkins. He was a 2007 graduate of DeLand High School. He worked as a carpenter for Artisan Design Group, where his craftsmanship was only outshined by his professionalism and courtesy. His friends and family knew Tim as witty and passionate. His hobbies included building and customizing an RC truck and trailer that he used with his nephews. He also enjoyed playing online video games with his brothers and friends. He is survived by his Father, Kevin; Mother, Star; Stepmother, Susan; Stepfather, Byron; Four brothers, two sisters, three nephews and many cousins. Family, friends and others whose lives Tim touched are invited to the Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home, 1 N. Causeway, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32169, from 6pm-7pm on Wednesday, December 16, 2020, to reminisce, grieve, and support each other in this time of loss. A memorial service will follow at 7:00pm.
