Obituary

Tina Beasley, age 61, of North Port, Florida passed away peacefully at home on January 25th, 2025. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, and cherished friend. Tina was known for her vibrant spirit, love for camping, and her ability to find joy in life's simple pleasures. A passionate plant lover, Tina had an undeniable affection for flowers. Her favorite being the desert rose and her bromeliads. She enjoyed reading and often lost herself in the pages of her favorite books.

Tina was married to her devoted husband, Jim, for 31 wonderful years. Together, they shared countless memories, many of which were made camping and on the boat, enjoying the tranquility of the water and each other's company. Their love for one another was a true partnership, built on a foundation of respect, laughter, and shared joy. Together with her husband Jim they ran Lost River Kennels, where they trained and bred English Pointers for 20 years. Their love for these magnificent dogs was evident in their care. Tina's kindness, humor, and warmth will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Jim; three sons, Jeff (Stacey) Metz, Justin Metz, Justin (Alisha) Beasley and one daughter, Sara Beasley; her parents, Arthur and Nina Jerrell; two sisters Lisa (John) Jarrett, Ronda (Tyler) Naas, a sister in law Mary (Damon) Phillips; eight grandchildren, Payton Beasley, Oliver Dodson, Madelyn Beasley, Braylon Beasley, Amelia Beasley, Morgan Metz, Cameron Metz and Violet Smith; and nieces Cassie (Braden Pence) Trueblood , Beth Kelsey, Sabrina Jarrett, Emma (Jake) Hubbell, Isabella Jarrett, Ellie Brewer, Freya Jarrett, and Ruby Jarrett; nephews Adam (Kacie) Trueblood and Hunter Jarrett; her beloved two dogs Greta, her Chihuahua, and Heidi and extended family and friends who will continue to honor her memory.

Tina is preceded in death by her mother and father in law Marion and Fred Beasley, sister and brother in laws, Susan and Mike Trueblood; nephew, Chris Kelsey.

A celebration of life service will be held in her memory at a later date in Indiana. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local chihuahua rescue organization.

Rest in peace, Tina. You will forever be loved and remembered by many.
