Obituary

Travis Leron Walker, 31

New Smyrna Beach, FL

Our beloved Travis Walker, 31, of New Smyrna Beach, went home to be with the Lord on June 9, 2026.

To know Travis was to know a true “gentle giant.” He carried the biggest heart you’d ever meet. He’d hand you his last dollar, his last meal, his last bit of strength, and never think twice about going without. Forgiving to a fault, loving without limits, and funny enough to make the worst day better, Travis lived to lift people up. He’d crack a joke or flash that smile of his, not realizing it was his smile that made our days.

Nothing mattered more to Travis than his people. He lived for family cookouts, late-night laughs with friends, and quietly helping anyone who was struggling. If you needed him, he was there.

Travis leaves a piece of his heart with his Wife, Maligah Walker; his girls, Taliyah and Tahiry ; and his bonus son, Tiye, who he loved as his own. He also leaves his mom Patricia Walker who raised him right. His father, Benjamin Walker, Sr. His siblings will miss him every day: Crystal Wilson (Troy), Benjamin Walker (Alexandra), Joshua Walker, Miracle Walker (Jamele), Patrice Walker, Carmella Walker and Latrice Walker. His nieces and nephews: Sydney, Braylen, Kai, Jaxis, Graceson and Kharsen lost the world’s best uncle. Grandmother Betty Williams and several aunts and cousins he loves dearly. Travis was preceded in death by grandfather Edward Williams and uncle George Fuller

Our hearts are broken, but we know that he’s in a better place. Travis is finally at peace, wrapped in the arms of his Father, Jesus Christ.

We’ll laugh again one day, just like he’d want us to. Until then, we’ll carry his love, his jokes, and his gentle strength with us.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Travis’s life on June 25th, the viewing will start at 12:00 pm and service will begin at 1:00pm.

Service location is 1 N Causeway, New Smyrna Beach, Florida,32169
