Ocala- Trenna Kay Stitt, age 81, passed away peacefully on July 18th, 2025, at home with family in Ocala Florida. She was born on August 12th,1943, in Fairmont WV to Robert and Freda Stitt. Trenna whose name means pure, was known for her radiant smile, sense of humor, and thoughtfulness of others.

Trenna grew up in Youngstown Ohio and attended Chaney High School. She was devoted to 3 children that she brought into the world, Fred, Kim, and Sue. Trenna lived several years in Columbus OH where she had a fulfilling career at Mount Carmel Hospital and Columbus Cardiology. After retiring she also worked for her daughter at SMK LOGO before taking on her most treasured title, Gramma Trenna.

Her family was her biggest joy in life having 3 children, 5 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. She moved to Tampa Florida in 2023 and then resided with her son and daughter-in-law in Ocala Florida. She is survived by her son Fred and wife Susan, her daughter Susan and life partner Debbie. Her grandchildren Heidi and husband Erik, Brandon, Zachary, Michael and wife Kya, and Freddie. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Camden, Karli, Ethan, Ezra, Maverik, Bodhi, and Noa. She is preceded in death by her daughter Kimberly Kay Knorr, parents Robert and Freda Stitt, sister Joyce and brother-in-law Robert Whittaker, and life partner Tom Spurling. She will be sadly yet joyfully missed as she awaits us to join her in heaven as she was a believer in Christ Jesus. You can celebrate her life and legacy with the family at the memorial services.

There will be 2 memorial services held. The first being held at the Arbors in room 4, On Top Of The World, Ocala Florida on August 24th 2025 from 1-4pm. The 2nd service will be held in Columbus OH on September 20th, 2025 with details forthcoming in the Columbus Dispatch Newspaper.
