In Loving Memory of Scott Denson August 21, 1955 – April 6, 2025

Tyler Scott Denson, 69, passed away on April 6, 2025. He was born in Orlando, Florida, on August 21, 1955. Scott was raised in Orlando and attended Edgewater High School, the University of South Florida, and the University of Florida.

After graduating from college, Scott began his career at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, where he quickly rose through the ranks. In 1991, he became the youngest General Manager at that time. Scott retired early in 2006 and moved to New Smyrna Beach, where he lived happily for the past 19 years.

Scott is survived by his wife of 40 years, Rita; his mother, Alice Denson; and his sister, Denise Denson, all of New Smyrna Beach, Florida. He is also survived by his children, Tyler (Tammy) Denson of Port Orange, Florida, and Lauren (Dan) Abramowitz of Palm Harbor, Florida. Scott was a proud grandfather to two grandsons, Carter and Jack Abramowitz, and two step-grandsons, Bear and Archer Ehrhart.

Scott was preceded in death by his father, William Denson, and his brother, Doug Denson.

We find comfort in knowing that Scott's legacy lives on through the love he shared with family and friends, the lessons he taught us, and the wonderful memories he left with us.

A celebration of Scott's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity in his name.
