Obituary

Ursula Stein Blake Buie passed away at her home on Sunday, July 11, 2021, after a brief battle with cancer.  She will be missed dearly by her only child Pamela Ann Curatti (Jay), granddaughter Tiffany Burggraf (Jeremy), grandson Jordan Curatti (April), great-grandson Asher Burggraf and great-granddaughter Calla Burggraf. She is preceded in death by her parents, Hermann and Anna Stein and brother, Hermann Stein.

Born in Roslyn, New York on Feb 18, 1936, Ursula moved to Fort Myers in her late teens where she lived until her death. Ursula loved her horse farm, Pelican Point Farms where she taught many children how to ride hunters and jumpers.  An avid traveler, she visited many exotic places in the world, making new friends and experiencing new cultures.  As a first-generation American, she was bilingual and utilized her family's native German language to engage other, often serving as an impromptu translator.  She kept active by working in her garden, going to the beach and doing craft projects around the house…along with weekly game nights with her friends.

No services are being held per her request.

Donations can be made to Hope Hospice of Fort Myers.
