SAVOIE Valentine S. "Val", age 70, of New Smyrna Beach, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on May 6, 2017.  She is survived by her husband, Guy; 2 daughters, Jill (Chad) Cavander and Kate (Rob) Rosenberg; 2 sons, Joshua Dougherty and Tom Savoie; 8 grandchildren, Savannah, Jonathan, Sarah, Everett, Jaden, Robinson, Shipley and June; a brother, William (Martha) Snelling; a sister, Jane (Bob) Holcomb; nieces, nephews other family and friends. Val is preceded in death by her parents, William Richard "Dick" and Julia "June" Snelling. A Celebration of Life Service for Val will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Space Coast Baptist Church, 223 North Samsula Drive, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168.  Memorials are preferred to the Space Coast Christian Academy.
