Vickie Upton, 67, of Grand Island, Florida passed away on Monday, July 10, 2023, at 9:35 pm at Tavares Hospice house in Tavares, Florida.

She was born on September 21, 1955, in Alton, IL, the daughter of Harold and Virgie (Lotton) Scherff. On June 11, 1988, she married Gary Duane Upton in Alton, IL.

She was a graduate of Edwardsville, IL High School, and Lewis & Clark Community College. She worked at Madison County, IL Treasurer's Office, and at Honda of America in Marysville, OH.

She is survived by her husband Gary of Grand Island, FL; Sister In Law, Donna Scherff; Stepdaughter, Angie Upton Nahlik and Granddaughters Kaitlyn, Gracey & Kenzie; Nieces and Nephews James Gusewelle (JoAnn) of Winter Garden, FL, Cathy Henseler (Hans) of Edwardsville, IL, John Gusewelle (Emily) of Prairetown, IL, and Kara Simmons of Mt. Olive, IL.

She was preceded in death by both parents; a brother, Paul Scherff; and a sister, Brenda Gusewelle.
