Victor E. Rosa, 88, of Edgewater died Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at the Hospice Care Center, Edgewater.  Victor was born December 30, 1920 in Flushing, NY.  He entered in the US Army Air Force in 1943 where he met and married the love of his life, Mildred where she was also serving our country as a WAC.  In 1975 they moved their family to New Smyrna Beach.  Victor was a member of the Christian Church of Edgewater where he enjoyed delivering communion to shut in's and numerous other church ministries.  He was preceded in death by his wife and son, John.  Victor is survived his devoted children, son, Robert; daughters, Vicki Buckmann, Cynthia Ferraro and Lenore Rosa; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Volusia-Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, 32129  6:30PM at First United Methodist Church 310 Douglas Street New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168 on September 11, 2009 (map/driving directions)
