Vincent James Dunn, 82, of St. James City, Florida, passed away February 2, 2019, at Hospice House in Cape Coral. Born July 14, 1936 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, he was the son of William James Dunn and Mary Cherenzia. Receiving a master of science and education degree from State University of New York College at Buffalo, Vincent was a teacher prior to retirement, spending the winter months in southwest Florida. He was actively involved with both the Buffalo Yacht Club and Fort Erie Power and Sail Squadron. Vincent was a skier, sailor, artist, body builder, master diver, avid traveler, and lover of life. He was the loving husband of the late Tricia Ann Higgins Dunn and proud twin brother of the late Robert Dunn. Surviving are his sons Tyler W. Dunn of Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and Bryden Dunn of Calgary, Alberta, his step daughters Susan (Andy) Heglin of Chicago, IL., Madonna (Greg) Filipowicz of Fort Erie, ON., Katie (Joco) Straiton of Crystal Beach, ON., and Tricia Black of Buffalo, NY., as well as his grandchildren Ryan, Katie, Kelly, Alex, Ashley, Kristen, and Mary.
